Abstract

ABSTRAK
Mentari, 2025. The Effectiveness of Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the
Learning Process of Economics Education Students at Universitas Muhammadiyah
Bone. Supervised by Haeril, S.E., M.Si. and Sahiruddin, S.Pd., M.Pd.
This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using Artificial Intelligence
(AI) in the learning process of fourth-semester students of the Economics Education
Study Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Bone. The research is motivated by
the rapid development of AI technology, which has the potential to enhance the
quality of learning, although its use among students is still uneven. The research
method used is descriptive quantitative, employing a Likert-scale questionnaire that
has been tested for validity and reliability. The sample consisted of 65 active
students who use AI platforms such as ChatGPT and Gemini.
The analysis results showed an average effectiveness score of 4.0144, which
indicates that AI is effective in supporting material comprehension, task
completion, and resource searching. It is recommended that students use AI wisely,
and that the institution provides digital literacy training to optimize the use of AI.
